The darndest things kids say

Jadons homework was to draw a picture of someone that you listen to.
He said "I'm going to draw my teacher mommy because I dont listen to you".

Fall

I am really excited for Halloween this year! Aaron is planning on being mommy's lil football player and Jadon wants to be a boxer. We will see if Jadon changes his mind once we get to the Halloween store. But Aarons is already purchased and he loves his football helmet mommy bought him. He looks so cute in it! Aaron is old enough to go door to door and trick or treat I will just have to keep him from eating all the candy. Hopefully Jadon will show him how its done. I'm excited to take them to the pumpkin patch. Aaron has one at his school. I'm sure he will try to carry every pumpkin out of their if he can. We bought a few pumkins today and I put them in my trunk and surprised both the boys. Jadon asked if it was real and aaron threw his like it was a ball. But Jadon is sleeping with his at the moment and Aaron could care less about his. Hoping to get some great pictures cause there are some huge pumpkins!

Aaron Starts Preschool

Aaron was in daycare last year but we disliked it. He is now in a church preschool and we love it. At first he cried for a good few weeks and I wasnt sure if it was gonna work. I hated to hear him cry it broke my heat when he would say "Mommy hold you" but I knew he would eventually enjoy it. My class is right next door to his so that made me feel much better!  He loves his teachers and is well behaved for them most of the time but when he sees me he becomes Aaron again. He likes to aggravate mommy. He is very polite whcih I love about him. He is TOTALLY different from Jadon. Has lots more energy and is always into something. He keeps me on my toes. He will be 3 in Dec. and we are hoping he will slow down some but thats only months away and we dont think that is going to happen any time soon. He is almost completly potty trained. When he is engaged into something he may have an accident but he tends to stay dry at school and comes home in the afternoon and takes a daily poop on the potty. It's like clock work. He is more miserable in the afternoons because he does not nap he sometimes falls asleep in the car on our 30 min drive home from school/work but as soon as the car stops his eyes open up! Then I know I'm in trouble cause that is no break for me. He doesnt care for TV or really toys he'd rather be doing what I am doing. He loves to do crafts and he loves the outdoors! He just recently started talking on the phone he loves to engage in a conversation with Daddy and tell stories that arent true sometimes. He likes to beat up on his older brother Jadon. He tends to bug him a lot. He will steal jadons cup, pillow, crayon anything to get Jadons attention even though he know hes going to get beat up for it. But they have their good moments too Jadon likes to carry Aaron around the house. They love to give each other hugs on occasion and when one is crying the other is sad for them.

My Ducky Jadon is in Kindergarten

Wow how time flies! Jadon is 5 years old and is in Kindergarten! He loves it and I am so glad. I didnt know it was going to be this easy. He loves to do his homework and gets super star at least once a week. If only he was that well behaved at home. I'd have it made. The first few days of school I would walk him to his class and younger brother Aaron would give him a great big hug! He doesnt hug me at school. That lasted about a week then he told me he is to big for me to be walking him to his class he could do it on his own. So I let him. Of course I watch until I know he is in his class. But one day I loaded his back pack with paper and forgot so he lugged that thing all the way up to the class room door he made it just in time for the bell. I felt so bad. He would come home with a stack of papers daily that he colored for me so I figured his teacher could use a restock of paper. Next time I give it to the teacher myself if I dont forget. One thing I hate about school is the sand. He literally comes home daily with his shoes full of sand. But that just tells me that he had fun on the playground that day. I hope that he does not get bored with school and that we can continue this year just like the way it started!
